Beyonce has made her grand return to the stage as she stepped out in Dubai on Saturday night, marking her first live performance in three years.

The 41-year-old sang as part of a celebration for the opening night of a new luxury hotel, Atlantis The Royal, with the concert being described as a "once in a lifetime show".

In an invite shared on Twitter, attendees were promised a "grand reveal moment" at the end of Beyonce's performance.

The music icon tried to keep the concert top secret and had asked fans to lock away their phones ahead of the show.

However, some concertgoers managed to keep their phones and took to social media to share pictures and videos of the evening.
