“His Excellency”: documents on Trump–Putin summit found in hotel in Alaska

Putin referred to as “His Excellency”: tourists in Alaska hotel find U.S. State Department documents, – NPR

Eight pages, apparently accidentally left behind by U.S. staff, contained summit details: times, venues, and the names of government officials.

It was also reported that Trump had planned to present Putin with a gift, which he ultimately did not deliver.

The lunch menu described the event as being held in honor of “His Excellency Vladimir Putin.”

The White House and the U.S. State Department did not comment on the discovery.
