Brad Pitt buys $12 million mansion with pool, marble kitchen and ocean view
Hollywood actor Brad Pitt has expanded his vast real estate empire by purchasing a Hollywood Hills mansion for $12 million (nearly 500 million UAH) from Dave Keuning, guitarist of the rock band The Killers.
The former husband of Angelina Jolie closed the deal for the Spanish-style home earlier this month, on August 5 — the same day his mother, Jane Etta Pitt, passed away at the age of 84, Daily Mail reports.
The Fight Club star was able to buy the house for less than the asking price, as Dave and his wife Emily had initially listed the property for $13.99 million back in June.
The purchase came two months after a burglary at the actor’s Los Feliz home in June, for which three suspects were recently arrested.
Pitt’s new Hollywood Hills mansion features six bedrooms and eight bathrooms.
The house is located in the Outpost Estates residential community and offers picturesque views of Los Angeles as well as the Pacific Ocean. The kitchen is equipped with modern appliances and features a contemporary design with marble countertops.
On the second floor of the house, there is a large balcony overlooking the backyard, where residents can spend time by the outdoor pool.
Outside, there is also a barbecue area and an outdoor kitchen, as well as a sofa and sun loungers.
A brick walkway leads to the main entrance of the mansion, which was built back in 1989. The estate also features wooden floors and an arched hallway that leads to an open living room with a fireplace.
