Stabbing attack in Birmingham: four people injured, one suspect arrested

A knifeman randomly attacked at least four passersby during a terrifying early-morning rampage in Birmingham, police say.
Two people were taken to the hospital and a suspect was arrested after the assault in the Kingstanding area of the city at around 6:30 am on Saturday.
CCTV footage shows a man walking along the pavement before attacking an apparent stranger walking in the opposite direction.
The knifeman then walks away while the victim runs down the road.
A 32-year-old man remains in custody as detectives continue to investigate the incident.
None of the four attacked were seriously hurt, according to West Midlands Police.
The force believes there may have been a fifth victim and have appealed to the man to come forward so they can make sure he’s okay.
They are also appealing to anyone who may have more information on the attack to get in touch.
