Terrifying moment as sex predators target an ‘intoxicated’ British tourist in Magaluf

This is the deeply disturbing moment a gang of sex predators decide ‘let’s go for it’ after finding a lone British woman ‘completely wasted’ on a beach in Magaluf.

Journalist Ellie Flynn was forced to flee the mob after the terrifying encounter, which she secretly recorded for new film ‘Magaluf Undercover: Predators and Parties’.

It aims to expose the holiday hotspot’s ‘predatory underbelly’ and will be available to stream on Channel 4 and YouTube from tomorrow.

The chilling clip shows two local men approaching Ellie, who is sat slumped on a sun lounger while ‘pretending to be drunk’, before one tries to chat with her.

He can be seen leaning over to ask: ‘Hey, are you good? Sorry, are you good?’

When Ellie – deliberately slurring her words – replies ‘I’m fine’, he goes on: ‘Do you want to talk a little bit?’

The already worrying encounter then takes a sinister turn when the stranger tells her: ‘You are my last chance. Do you want to kiss a little bit?’

He walks off when Ellie says ‘no’ and she says in the narration that she ‘thinks he’s leaving’.

But he instead goes and chats with another man, and the crew’s covert cameras catch him saying in Spanish: ‘She’s completely wasted.’ His friend replies: ‘Let’s go for it! Let’s go for it!’

Ellie Flynn New doc for @channel4 out this Wednesday. I go undercover in Magaluf - a party destination blighted by reports of sexual assault and rape - to expose the predatory underbelly of the tourist hotspot. We secretly film in clubs, on the strip and at the adjoining beach, after dark, with me and another member of the team pretending to be drunk or underage. Filmed across just three nights, I am followed, harassed, touched and targeted by men, who often appear to be working together in groups. Magaluf Undercover: Predators and Parties will be available on @untoldc4 streaming and YouTube on Wednesday. eiqruidtdiquxinv

The sudden appearance of a third man, who sidles up to Ellie offering to ‘keep her company’, forces her to abandon the sting because she’s ‘genuinely scared’.

‘Despite being sober and surrounded by crew, I don’t know how many of these men there are,’ she says.

She then gives the signal for security to ‘get me out’.

‘Sorry, that just scared me,’ she tells the handler. ‘I didn’t see him coming.’

Writing about the terrifying encounter in The Sun, Ellie said: ‘I leave the beach upset and frightened, feeling like I’ve experienced an orchestrated attempt to target drunk women alone on a night out in Magaluf.

‘Shockingly, this was not an isolated incident, but a pattern that emerged across my three nights in the resort town.’

The already worrying encounter then takes a sinister turn when the stranger tells her: ‘You are my last chance. Do you want to kiss a little bit?’

She described being targeted several other times over the course of three days filming there.

On one night she recorded a group of men staring at her for 10 minutes while she pretended to be drunk outside a takeaway joint.

‘Why would this man, who has been watching me for several minutes and can see that I am seemingly drunk, be trying to get me into a vehicle,’ she wrote.

‘He repeatedly asked why I was alone, where my mates were and suggested he could help me – all while telling me that I’m beautiful, and standing much closer than I was comfortable with.’

Ellie’s documentary comes in the wake of three alleged gang rapes in Magaluf and surrounding areas last year.

Calvia, the municipality where Magaluf is situated, has the highest number of reported sex assaults per inhabitant in the whole of Spain.
