Legendary musician Fatman Scoop has died aged 53 after he collapsed during a performance in front of adoring fans

Fatman Scoop has died aged 53.

The iconic musician who was known across the globe had been performing at a free concert in Connecticut, America, before his tragic death. Videos circulating on social media show the late rapper shows him performing some of his biggest hits, while shirtless just hours before his death. 

Fatman Scoop whose real name was Isaac Freeman III was the headline act at the Green & Gold Party in Hamden, Connecticut when he suffered a "medical emergency". Reports claim that the musician who was known for his Number One hit Be Faithful collapsed and passed out, with onlookers rushing to perform emergency CPR on him.
