Rush hour disruption on London Underground after Tube line closure

The Monday morning commute is off to a sticky start on the London Underground after severe disruption on Tube lines.

Londoners should brace themselves for a sweltering commute across the TfL network as today is likely to be the hottest day of the year – so don’t forget your water bottle.

Commuters on the Tube should make their coffee extra strong after severe delays on the Metropolitan line. Earlier, part of the Bakerloo line was suspended after a signal failure.

Meanwhile at London airports, a handful of flights have been cancelled at Heathrow and Gatwick.
