Kevin Campbell has been reportedly ‘rushed to hospital’ with messages of support flooding in for the Arsenal legend, including one from Ray Parlour.

Campbell spent 10 years at Arsenal from 1985 to 1995, helping the Gunners clinch the top-flight title, the FA Cup, League Cup and European Cup Winners’ Cup.

The 54-year-old was recently admitted to hospital after falling ill last week, according to the Liverpool Echo, with his current condition unknown at this time.

Fellow Arsenal icon Parlour has taken to social media to offer his support to Campbell and is hoping to see the former striker made a speedy recovery.

‘I hear my ex-team-mate Kevin Campbell is struggling at the moment,’ Parlour said in a video posted on X.

‘All the football family are right behind you, Kev. I know you’re strong character, mate.

‘Stay positive. I’m sure everyone is on your side trying to help you. Hopefully, you get well soon mate and you’ll be back flying as usual.’

Campbell played a total of 209 games for Arsenal, producing 55 goals and 20 assists.

He also played for Everton, Nottingham Forest, West Brom, Cardiff and Turkish side Trabzonspor while he spent time on loan at Leyton Orient and Leicester City.

Another former footballer, Trevor Sinclair, has also fired a message of support to the hospitalised Campbell.

‘Sending prayer, love [and] light to Kevin Campbell,’ former England international Sinclair posted. ‘Absolutely lovely human.’

Campbell has a son, Tyrese, who played professionally for Championship side Stoke City.

Stoke poached Tyrese Campbell from the Manchester City academy and he has made a total of 164 appearances to date, registering 36 goals and 21 assists.
