A murder suspect on the run from police is a wannabe influencer and Primark vlogger who shares his ‘adventures’ on YouTube.

Habibur Masum, 25, has been named by police as the suspect in the killing of a 27-year-old woman, who was stabbed in the neck ‘in broad daylight’ in Bradford on Saturday afternoon while pushing a pram.

Witnesses say she was stabbed four times in the neck and left to die in front of her five-month-old baby boy.

Masum, who lives in Oldham and was known to the victim, is from the Bangladeshi city of Sylhet and is studying for a masters in digital marketing at the University of Bedfordshire, according to his LinkedIn profile.

He shares vlogs of his ‘adventures’ and life in the UK to his 14 YouTube subscribers, as well as admiring the wide range of clothes, made in Bangladesh, on offer in Primark.

In one video he tried on a range of winter jumpers before leaving with two bags of clothes.

In another video from January, Masum is seen filming himself walking through a housing estate as snow falls down. He warns his followers who are new to the UK not too ‘stay out in the cold too long’ as they could get chest problems.

And only a few days ago he shared a video documenting his trip from Manchester to Barcelona.

Police are warning people not to approach Masum but to call 999 immediately if they see him.

A shopkeeper who tried to save the life of a young mum after she was stabbed to death in a busy city centre has spoken out about the horrifying ordeal.

Greengrocer Geo Khan, 69, said the woman was a regular customer at his shop.

He told The Sun: ‘I was working on Saturday and I heard screams and ran out of my shop.

‘I saw that lady was lying face down on the pavement next to a pushchair with her five-month old baby boy inside.

‘I turned her over. There was a lot of blood and I checked for a pulse, but couldn’t find one.’

He added: ‘I could see the knife wounds to her neck and I tried to do CPR. Her friend, who had gone into the Westgate International Food store when the attack happened was screaming.

‘A doctor was passing in a car and stopped to help. He picked up a pulse and I got a sheet to put over her until the ambulance came.’

They’re asking people to report any sightings of Masum, who is 25, and say he has links to the Burnley and Chester areas. They also confirmed that the victim and suspect are believed to know each other.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: ‘Detectives investigating the murder of a woman in Bradford have named a man who is wanted on suspicion of the offence.

‘Police are appealing for members of the public to report any sightings of Habibur Masum, 25, who is from the Oldham area.

‘He is described as an Asian man, of slim build. He is pictured on CCTV wearing a duffle coat with three large horizontal lines of grey, white and black, light blue or grey tracksuit bottoms with a small black emblem on the left pocket and maroon trainers.

‘A witness also reported seeing him wearing a grey hoody with the hood up.

‘He is believed to have links to the Burnley and Chester areas.’

The woman’s family have been informed and are being supported by officers.

Detective Chief Inspector (DCI) Stacey Atkinson said Masum’s whereabouts remain unknown, but ‘significant resources’ are being used to follow several lines of inquiry.

She said: ‘A knife was recovered from the scene of the murder, but we cannot say if Habibur Masum is armed, and I would urge anyone who does see him not to approach him but to call 999 immediately.

‘If anyone has any information about his movements or whereabouts since 3:20pm on Saturday please contact police as a matter of urgency.
