Ekin-Su's family post desperate statement amid CBB row and share abuse threats
Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu's family have released a desperate statement amid the growing backlash towards the Celebrity Big Brother star.
It comes as ITV viewers have insisted that they have 'had enough' of Ekin-Su after branding her 'fake'. Former Love Island winner Ekin-Su, 29, was at first a hit with ITV viewers, but as the days go on in the Celebrity Big Brother house, they have claimed to see her mask slip as they branded her 'fake' after Thursday's instalment of the iconic reality TV show.
On Thursday's instalment, Ekin-Su was branded 'fake' and 'disturbing' by her fellow housemate and former This Morning star, Fern Britton. Ekin nominated her former pal Louis Walsh for eviction as fans claimed she only did so after realising that he was not popular among fans after hearing them boo him during last Friday night's eliminations.

Sharing the post on Ekin's official Instagram account, the statement read: "Last night was a really sad episode to watch. Ekin-Su has always cared and worn her heart on her sleeve, and last night, we saw that.
"What made last night a thousand times harder though is seeing and listening to hateful comments, trolling, name calling, and physical abuse threats. Nobody deserves this behaviour and to read some of what we did last night. Big Brother UK is a reality entertainment show that is edited to entertain us viewers.

"We see an hour of 24 hours each day, and the show is a social experiment that has been known to heighten emotions. We would like to thank those of you that have supported Ekin-Su. The love and kind words haven't gone unnoticed. Please remember, in a world where you can be anything, be kind."
The emotive statement comes after Ekin-Su also found herself in a brawl with fellow housemate Marisha Wallace which left fans furious. On Thursday night's episode of the ITV programme, the housemates were invited to celebrate at a fun fair where they played games and enjoyed snacks.
At one point, Big Brother asked Marisha to pick a prediction from a fortune-telling machine. Reading the fortune bubble, she said: “There are exciting things ahead. On Sunday the 14th of April, you will be sitting at the Olivier Awards as a nominee for Best Actress in a Musical for Guys & Dolls.”
Ekin broke down in tears (ITV)The stars screamed and celebrated the incredible news but the house soon got turned upside down when Big Brother asked the celebrity housemates to stand at the Kissing Booth and nominate two others to be up for nomination. While most people nominated Louis Walsh, it turned sour when musical theatre star Marisha nominated Ekin-Su.
"I know if I get to the final, I can’t beat you. I know that if you get to the final with me, you will win the public vote," Marisha explained. "I know that if we go head-to-head, you have a huge following, you played these games before you know how to win and if I want to win this, if I ever had the chance, I wouldn’t have the chance against you.”
Ekin-Su was seething and replied: "I knew this was going to happen, this judging me because I went on a f***ing show before. You’ve been close with me this whole time so you’ve been fake with me this whole time." The Love Island star didn't take too kindly to the nomination and kicked up a storm about it all over the house, telling Marisha she wouldn't forgive her for her decision.
After breaking down in tears, Ekin-Su told Marisha to just 'take the crown'. Ekin also claimed her housemates had backstabbed her – despite turning on Louis Walsh and Fern Britton herself. Giving her nominations, she explained: “Louis is a bit lazy and I prefer someone who is a team player, and I would like him to be more practical with the housework in the home. That’s why I want to nominate Louis.
“The second person I nominate is Fern. The reason why I nominate Fern is because I just haven’t had that deep, deep, conversation. I feel like Fern hasn’t asked me any personal questions about my life and that’s made me feel like maybe, she’s not interested in me as a housemate.”
