Arsenal are still celebrating their memorable Champions League victory against Porto.

The Gunners beat the Portuguese side 1-0 at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday evening, to cancel out Porto’s first-leg advantage. David Raya was then the hero in the penalty shootout by saving two efforts.

The victory means the Gunners have booked themselves a spot in Friday’s quarter-final draw. It will be the first time that Arsenal have appeared at that stage in 14 seasons.

Since Raya saved the final penalty, there has been plenty of reaction to the game. Take a look at the best of the headlines from the last 24 hours:

Odegaard makes transfer comment

Tuesday evening's victory against Porto is what convinced Martin Odegaard to sign for Arsenal, according to the midfielder. Speaking after the game, he said: ‌"When I came here I believed in the project, in the club, what they were doing, everything around the club, I believed in it - and now we are here doing well.

"We just have to keep pushing each other and make sure we get a little bit better every day. We will see where it takes us. But I think we have to use this, we have to grow off this. It is a massive night for everyone. We are still a young squad, but this was another big experience for everyone. We have to keep building on that and use it in a good way going into the end of the season. It should be a massive boost for everyone.”

Thierry Henry misses decisive kick

While the vast majority of the Emirates Stadium could not keep their eyes off of the penalty shootout, Thierry Henry decided not to look. In footage shared by CBS, the Arsenal icon walked away and left the studio before Galeno’s spot kick was saved.

It appeared that his actions were through confidence, as he repeated “he misses” while walking away. Henry explained his actions during his post-match analysis.

He said: “The way he put the ball down, it looked suspicious to me. So I left.” Punditry colleague Jamie Carragher then offered his view and replied: “That man knows ball.”

Arsenal respond to Conceicao claim

Arsenal have strongly denied that boss Mikel Arteta insulted a dead member of Sergio Conceicao's after the win against Porto. The Portuguese made the claim during his post-match press conference.

He said: "During the game and towards the bench he, in Spanish, I don’t know if this is to do with Spanish managers, he insulted my family. At the end, I told him that the person he insulted is no longer among us."

However, Arsenal have vehemently denied any such comment was said by Arteta. Asked about the win and the exchange, the Spaniard replied: "Really, really happy. We want more. Let’s wait till we have to play again. And no comment, thank you so much."
