Lenny Kravitz was brutally dragged by his daughter Zoë as the Let Love Rule hitmaker was honoured on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The 59-year-old musician received his star, surrounded by family and his famous friends. It was at Tuesday afternoon's ceremony that his Batman actress daughter hilariously mocked the musician's fashion sense and "embarrassing" style.

Joined by her famous fiancé Channing Tatum, Zoë took to the stage to congratulate her father on the milestone achievement, explaining: "Lenny Kravitz. I've had the pleasure of knowing you for a long time. And I must say, being your daughter has been one of the great adventures of my life." The audience were already finding her speech hilarious.

She added: "Since you were so young when I was born, in many ways we've grown up together. We've been through a lot. We've seen a lot. I've seen a lot. I've seen you change in the most beautiful ways. I've seen the way you've stayed the same in the most important ways. I've seen the way you show up and take care of the people you love. I've seen your incredible dedication to your art. But mostly I've seen through your shirts."

Lenny began to laugh as his only daughter ripped into his style, continuing: "According to my dad, if it doesn't expose your nipples, it's not a shirt. And sure, it used to embarrass me when he picked me up from school as a kid, but I gotta say, at this point, I respect it. You really do pull it off. Your relationship with the netted shirt is probably your longest one, and it works." More members of the crowd continued to laugh at her jokes.

She did get serious later on in the speech, telling attendees that it was "awesome" growing up with "such a cool dad", adding: "What's cool about you is not what people think is cool about you. Your radness doesn't come from your shades or leather pants or netted shirts. It comes from your true love of life.

"Life is your art," she said. "And that is why your music is so inspiring and important. You make people feel alive. You remind them of the only thing that matters: Love." Lenny welcomed Zoë, who is his only child, with his ex-wife Lisa Bonet in December 1988.

His award comes after Lenny left fans in a state of shock as he stripped completely nude for his new music video TK421 in October last year. The rock legend, known for hits like Are You Gonna Go My Way, first shared a risqué teaser clip with his 4.5million Instagram followers several days ago before dropping the full music video. The video shows Lenny, 59, in a lavish house, singing and dancing in various rooms.

In one scene, he's fully nude, with only a statue strategically placed to cover his modesty. Another shot features him lounging in a golden hand chair, donning brown leather trousers, white shoes, sunglasses, and a light-coloured tank top.

The musician last released an album in 2018 called Raise Vibration. It was his eleventh album and he went on a tour of the same name later that year. Fans were excited when the first teaser was posted, hoping for new music after five years. "Please be an album! Please be an album! Please be an album!" one person excitedly wrote.
