Sharon Osbourne 'extremely sad' over CBB exit, says body language commentator
Sharon Osbourne had "a moment of sadness" when she left Celebrity Big Brother (CBB) earlier this week, it's now been suggested by a body language commentator.
Tuesday night's episode of the ITV show saw 'lodger' Sharon Osbourne, 71, and housemate Lauren Simon, 48, leave the Big Brother house. The latter is the second housemate to have been evicted, with Gary Goldsmith, 59, the first to go.
The episode ended with the Real Housewives of Cheshire star Lauren's eviction, before former X Factor judge Sharon left the house herself shortly afterwards. Lauren had been up for eviction with Louis Walsh, 71, and Fern Britton, 66.
Following the latest eviction, body language commentator Inbaal Honigman spoke to Betway about the departures of Lauren and Sharon earlier this week. It's been suggested that the latter was "extremely sad" as she left the house.
Inbaal commented following the latest episode: "When Sharon hears that she's leaving, there's a moment of sadness all over her face - her lips are pulled down and her eyes are wistful. Even if she knew that her time was short, when the end actually arrives, Sharon is extremely sad."
Reality TV personality Stephen Bear faces court over fence row with council"When she leaves, she stops to look back at the housemates several times, even when they're already obscured from view. This means that she feels emotional about leaving them behind and that she will miss them. She almost has some regrets about leaving so soon," they continued.
The commentator concluded: "As she leaves the house, she covers her mouth with her hand and bows at the audience, which is a real moment for her - here we see how modest she is, truly shocked that so many people are applauding her and calling for her. The outpouring of love has caught her by surprise. Shaking hands with the awaiting fans, Sharon makes her exit about them, not about herself, showing how selfless she is by her nature."
The astrologer also addressed Lauren's departure, saying: "As [she] hears her name during the eviction, there's neither surprise nor disappointment etched across her face, she seems genuinely fine with leaving, and her smile is real.
"She's not beaming, so she's not overcome with joy - but her quick moves as she exits show that she's more than a little excited. Her catwalk strutting into the awaiting crowds shows that she's proud of how she did, her smile is broad and confident and touches every part of her face."
It's been announced that two housemates will following in the footsteps of Lauren later this week as there's set to be a double eviction on Friday night. The news was discussed on CBB companion show Late & Live on Tuesday evening.
Celebrity Big Brother continues tonight on ITV and ITVX from 9pm ahead of the next eviction on Friday. Previous episodes are available through the streaming platform.
