Una Healy shares rare photo with daughter Aoife and they're practically twins
Una Healy has shared a rare snap of her daughter, Aoife - and the family resemblance is striking.
The Saturdays star, 42, rarely posts photos of her daughter, 12, and son Tadgh, eight, who she shares with ex Ben Foden. However, she took to Instagram today wishing Aoife many happy returns. Posting the snap in which the mother and daughter duo look like twins with the same green eyes, facial features and long brown hair, Una wrote: "Happy 12th birthday Aoife Belle."
The birthday wishes come after Una's ex Ben welcomed a baby girl Olympia with his wife Jackie, 39, in January. The couple, who live in the US, are already parents to Farrah, three. The rugby star said he would be coming to the UK to watch the Six Nations this month as well as spend time with Aoife for her birthday.
Una and Ben split in 2018 after six years in a divorce which the singer described as "traumatic". However, despite their split Ben insists there is no bad blood between the pair, saying his ex congratulated him on the birth of his fourth child.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, he said: "She's really happy for us welcoming another baby into the family. We've been co-parenting for the last five years and I think we're pretty good at it now. Me having another baby won't change anything and I appreciate how much she takes the reins with Aoife and Tadgh. For us, it's all about communication and I think she also appreciates the break we give her when the kids visit for a few weeks during the summer and at Christmas."
Inquiry launched into Omagh bombing 25 years after IRA atrocity which killed 29Ben added: "We also took them skiing at a centre near Jackie's parent's house in Connecticut and they were total naturals. It was nice to spend time just the five of us before Olympia came along. I'm also going back to England for the England v Ireland rugby game, which will be around when Aoife's birthday is. So, I'll see them then again but in terms of them meeting Pia, it'll be summer."
Despite co-parenting harmoniously now, Una claimed she and Ben "needed to split up" - not least in the wake of his infidelity admission. Opening up about his cheating in 2019, the England star told The Guardian : "At the moment anything that's published about me is never very good and pretty rightly so, because I was the one who committed adultery."
Speaking on Boots ' Taboo Talk podcast hosted by Vogue Williams, alongside Love Island finalist Faye Winter, Una shared: "We needed to split up and to divorce because we couldn't stay together. [But] you always see the couples and the families and everything and you just feel so lonely cause like that's not you anymore. It's really hard."
The mum-of-two's last high-profile relationship was with boxer David Haye last year, with Una going on to deny claims she had been in a 'throuple' with the I'm A Celebrity star and his long-term girlfriend, Sian.
