When it comes to naming a baby, most parents spend hours searching through a baby book before coming across the perfect moniker. But one couple got more than they bargained for after accidentally naming their daughter after a porn star - making them wonder whether they should change the moniker before it's too late.

Taking to Reddit, the mum-to-be said: "After thinking about the right baby name for months, we finally found a name we both love, Evelina Juliet. Then I happened to Google the name up. Boom. Only porn sites came up, as this seems to be some pornstar’s name.

"Should we go back to the drawing board and find a new middle name for Evelina? We were thinking about Evelina Juliane, but it’s a bit too long and sounds a bit too much like a poem if you know what I mean." Admitting she doesn't mind her child sharing her name with a porn star, she worries it could negatively impact her daughter in life, especially during her school years.

She added: "I don’t want my child to get bullied and embarrassed if they will be Googling names at school in the future. And, of course, most people don’t know this is a ‘porn star name’ but if someone would happen to Google her name it would come up. I am trying to figure out how much I should care about this. What would you think? I’m in my pregnancy hormones and really heartbroken about this haha and mad that porn even exists now."

Commenting on her post, one user said: "I mean, what are the chances someone is going to Google just your child’s first and middle name ? If it was the first and last name it would be a much bigger problem. Maybe spell it Juliette - that pushes the search down to like three and not the top result at least." Another user added: "Give it five years and her videos and name will be lost to obscurity." A third user said: "I feel like I did lots of Googling of names in school so I would probably change it for her sake. it is a pretty name though."
