Louis Walsh calls Ronan Keating a p***k and Andrew Lloyd Webber a freak in rant

Louis Walsh has hit out at Boyzone singer Ronan Keating and Andrew Lloyd Webber in his latest Celebrity Big Brother rant.

In scenes that aired on Tuesday night, ITV viewers watched as the Housemates were treated to a VIP pop party where they were given treats, drinks, and the chance to dance to some classic pop songs. But when the song Life Is A Rollercoaster song by 47-year-old Ronan played in the house, 71-year-old Louis took a brutal swipe at the singer.

Ronan was a member of Boyzone - the chart topping band that Louis managed and also included 51-year-old Mikey Graham, 49-year-old Keith Duffy, and 47-year-old Shane Lynch. The band also included late singer Stephen Gately, who died in 2009 at the age of 33. Ronan then went on to enjoy success as a solo artist - with Louis continuing to work with him, until they went separate ways, creatively.

As Ronan’s song played in the Celebrity Big Brother House, Louis commented: “Great song.” But then he took an unexpected swipe at Ronan. He grumbled: “He was such a p***k.” And he didn’t back down. Speaking to 71-year-old Sharon Osbourne, he went on: “Everybody thinks he’s a lovely guy, do you know what I mean?”

Louis then claimed Ronan has failed to enjoy chart success without him. He raged: “He hasn’t had a hit record since I left. He sacked me.” Viewers watching from home were gobsmacked by Louis’s bitter comments - but he didn't stop there as he then slammed Andrew Lloyd Webber.

Elsewhere during the show, Louis hit out at composer Andrew Lloyd Webber. The music mogul mentioned the 1984 musical Starlight Express which Andrew wrote the music for as Sharon gushed over how much she loved it. "Never saw it Sharon," Louis said before adding: "He's a bit of a freak, Lloyd Webber, strange man." To which Sharon added: "I thought he was gay."

Louis then made cold comments about iconic pop duo Jedward. Louis discussed Jedward- who he managed between 2009 and 2013 - with CBB housemate and Coronation Street star Colson Smith. During the chat, he called them 'vile' and said they were simply a 'novelty' act but were 'great for the show'. He added that he earned a whopping £5million for managing them. Jedward - real name John and Edward Grimes - were quick to slam their former manager in a post shared online.

"Louis Walsh is a cold-hearted b*****d who didn’t even send us flowers when our mom died," they posted to their 641,000 followers on X, formerly known as Twitter.
