Two men accused of blowing up a woman’s house allegedly planned to feed her daughter to a and post faeces through her letterbox.

Georgia natives Caleb Kinsey, 34, and Stephen Glosser, 37, were charged with stalking, and use of explosives after one of the men’s relationship went sour with the victim, authorities reported. The Richmond Hill, Bryan County property exploded on January 13, 2023, with the victim and her family escaping unscathed.

The men allegedly had a long list of other plans which included mailing faeces and dead rats through the victim’s letter box, firing arrows at her front door and scalping the woman, according to the US Attorney's Office. Potentially the most grisly was an alleged plan to release a 'large' python in the home in order to devour the victim’s daughter.

Glosser and the victim, who remains nameless, reportedly met through a dating app before they “blocked each other,” Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) investigator Nile Eltzroth told WTOC. Then, his friend Kinsey appeared to get involved. The pair allegedly lived together in the city of Savannah and served together in the US Air Force.

Kinsey allegedly sent a text message “asking if she wanted to die” and “that the demons will kill her,” the investigator said. The men were accused of keeping the victim under surveillance between December 2022 and January 2023.

Investigators also found Glosser’s diary which contained “homicidal thoughts of wanting to kill [the victim]". The pair found the woman’s home and built an explosive device using up to 80lbs of Tannerite – which explodes when struck by a bullet – before blowing up the property, police said.

A witness told investigators that a black SUV was seen scurrying away from the scene – which reportedly belonged to Kinsey. Police served a search warrant on Kinsey and Glosser's home and their phones, where they found evidence of explosives and Glosser's journal.

More than 80 pieces of evidence were gleaned against the two accused bombers. After searching their mobile devices, the ATF investigators seemingly found further incriminating evidence.

“They were both posing with the Tannerite, with Tannerite hats on. We also have evidence of 80 pounds of Tannerite being ordered and delivered to the residents,” Investigator Eltzroth said.

Residue of the substance was found at the scene of the victim’s home, according to investigators. Investigator Eltzworth said that the suspects also talked about blowing up an unidentified courthouse and hurting a former coworker.

After hearing this information, Judge David Cavendar made his decision. “I deny bond,” Cavendar said. The pair already faced state charges of unlawful possession of an explosive and first-degree arson.

Now, prosecutors said that the conspiracy to use an explosive to commit a felony charge carries a penalty of up to 20 years in prison. Using an explosive to commit a felony carries an additional penalty of 10 years in prison.
