Dark circles and sagging under eyes can be a real cause for self-consciousness as we age, but shoppers have been heaping praise on a , saying it gave them ‘amazing results’ after just one use.

The is usually £29.99, but has been slashed to a third of the price for one day only as part of the health and beauty retailer’s weekly £10 Tuesday deals.

The pen-style applicator allows for targeted application and is said to around the eye area, with noticeable results in just four weeks.

The triple action eye cream works to replump the skin and firm eye contours using a combination of Pro-xylane, known for its anti-ageing properties, Caffeine and Hyaluronic Acid. It’s amassed a 4.2 star rating from shoppers who say it’s knocked years off their face - with one saying she didn’t even recognise herself in the mirror.

One customer wrote: “I have had awful dark circles under both eyes for many years. Panda Bear was how I was teased. Today I tried . I can't believe that I see results, amazing results in the first treatment. But I do, so excited I finally found something that really works.”

“After using this morning and night for four days, I looked in the mirror after a shower and looked different to the point I almost didn't recognise my face,” said another. “I kept staring trying to figure it out and then I realised my dark circles (that I have had my whole life no matter how much sleep I get) were almost gone. I couldn't believe it! This stuff definitely works.”

With a third commenting: “I tried this product after one of my middle school students was nice enough to tell me I had REALLY dark circles around my eyes. My response to him was, "it's hereditary,” and that I have always looked like a raccoon. What he didn't know was that it really kinda hurt my feelings.

“I'm 52 but I don't want to look 52. My eyes are green and I have been told that they are pretty but when I look in the mirror all I see is my dark circles. Soooooo, I have tried your product for almost 2 months and LOVE IT!! You can clearly see a difference!! Thank you and you have a customer for life!!”

Some have mentioned that you do have to be very consistent with the , but say they 'have used this cream for several years and swear by it'.

Another added “As long as I use it faithfully, as directed, I see continuous improvement. If I slack off, I can still see the previous results. If I really, really slack off (not use for a month or so) I do have to start over. I try to stick to a routine so that doesn’t happen. My eyes look very good, much better than people my age or even younger!”

One even used it on her husband and said it made him look half a decade younger, writing: "This eye is a little tube of miracle essence. I have had a lot of eye surgery and have become a bit self conscious about the fine lines under eyes. Well this cream or serum is wonderful. It soothes, moisturizes and actually DOES work on reducing my eye bags and puffiness. Just to check that I was not deluding myself, I used it on my husband, and hey preston, he looked five years younger after just one application! I love the smell and think that the applicator is well conceived."

Others haven’t been a fan of the applicator, either, and prefer to use their fingers to apply the product, writing: “Love the product and it works well as advertised. I use it every morning and night. HOWEVER, I do not like the applicator. As I am trying to apply the treatment by massaging the metal tip under the eyes until it is absorbed, I find the serum 'wraps' around the tip and more is remaining on the tip than going on my skin! I have resorted to dabbing it on and using my pinky finger to gently rub it in until absorbed.”

But some have said they ‘love’ it, as the cold metal aids in refreshing the skin and reducing puffiness, with one saying it ‘makes applying the cream very therapeutic.’

According to price history checker CamelCamelCamel, this is the cheapest we’ve seen the L’Oreal cream over the past 12 months, with it also being .
