Geri Horner mingles with royals after Christian Horner's gushing comments
Geri Horner looked like she'd put the stress of her husband's Red Bull scandal behind her when she rocked up for the Commonwealth Day Service today.
The Spice Girl, 51, was praised by Christian Horner on Mother's Day after the F1 CEO was cleared following an investigation into his behaviour at work. However, his alleged messages to his female colleague were then shared with a number of media outlets and F1 figures.
Despite the furore, Geri publicly supported her husband at the Grand Prix in Saudi Arabia on the weekend and looked happy and relaxed as she mingled with royalty at Westminster Abbey today.
Sporting a natty hat in her signature white, which featured black lace detail, and a fitted white dress with a small black leather bag and matching stilettos, Geri smiled for the cameras as she made her way inside the Abbey where she mingled with guests, including Prince William.
On Sunday, Christian shared a gushing Mother's Day message to his wife, who he shares son, Monty, with. The father-of-two posted photos of Geri to mark Mother's Day, along with a heartfelt tribute to her in the caption. He wrote: "Happy Mother’s Day - So appreciative of the mums in our family for everything they do. We’re always grateful, today and every day."
Red Bull 2023 F1 season launch live stream as RB19 unveiled at New York eventThe couple have had a difficult few weeks after allegations that Christian conducted "inappropriate behaviour" towards a female colleague, which he strenuously denied and has since been cleared by an internal investigation by Red Bull. The Red Bull boss has been at the centre of a scandal after WhatsApp messages were leaked which appeared to be written by Christian to his female colleague and Geri has been standing firm in her support of her husband with the couple being pictured at the Formula One Grand Prix of Saudi Arabia, the first race of the season.
Geri has been supported by her fellow Spice Girls during the scandal and Melanie Brown, a.k.a Scary Spice, shared how the bandmates have pulled together for their friend. Speaking to the Mirror, Mel told us: "Oh God, we are all so supportive of each other, we would literally take a bullet for each other. Between the four of us, we’ve all been messaging her. I sent a message to her earlier. I just feel for her, and… oh my God. I just feel sad. But she knows she has us four that are with her." Despite being in contact with Geri over text message, Mel B is still in the dark over the details of the allegations.
