He brought out his male cast members and even included the Guns N' Roses iconic guitarist, Slash. Ryan was also nominated for best supporting actor but lost to Robert Downey Jr.
Jimmy Kimmel hosted the award show but not many viewers were happy with his monologue. He even poked fun at Donald Trump who called him the "worst Oscars host."

While presenting the last award of the night, Al Pacino gave an 'awkward' Best Picture presentation. Al strangely introduced the winner of the award announcing that "my eyes see Oppenheimer" and failed to mention the other nominees.
