CBB viewers stunned by housemates eating strange meal at 11pm
It's 11pm on Saturday night in Celebrity Big Brother... and the housemates are eating a full roast dinner.
Well, all of the housemates bar Fern Britton. She apparently chose to "meditate" rather than join the big sit down meal prepared by Reggae Reggae Sauce founder Levi Roots, 65, and Real Housewives of Cheshire star Lauren Simon, 48.
The scenes were aired on last night's CBB livestream, and the viewers who watched the huge dinner dished up and devoured were left bemused by the late hour that they all sat down to eat. Some shared their concerns that they would be suffering from indigestion as soon as they got to bed.
One wrote: "The fact they're eating a roast dinner at 10:40pm and they all got a good amount is giving me heartburn just thinking about it!"
"Sorry but they're actually eating dinner right now? I saw Levi cooking that chicken earlier but for some reason, I thought it was prep for tomorrow's meal," said another.
Reality TV personality Stephen Bear faces court over fence row with council"No matter how many years I watch this show, I will never not be surprised by their meal times," said one longtime fan. Others commented on how they were left questioning their existence after seeing the scenes.
"Yes I am in on a Saturday night watching a group of celebrities eating a roast dinner live at half 10 at night," said one. Another viewer echoed their sentiment, writing: "Why am I choosing to spend my Saturday night alone watching 10 celebrities eat a roast dinner but not being able to hear a f*****g word being said?"
But it wasn't just the dinner itself which proved to be a discussion point, the tidying up also became a talking point. Viewers praised Love Island winner Ekin-Su, 29, for clearing the table. One said: "Love it all the oldies sat at the table while the younguns clear away and wash up after dinner…as it should be after Levi made dinner for them all."
But Louis Walsh, 71, was scolded by one viewer for doing absolutely nothing except bark orders. "Louis didn’t help with the dinner, he didn’t help tidy away or clean up… now he’s demanding tea. This guyyyy has a nerve!!," tweeted one fan.
The new series started last week, and there's already been plenty of great moments - and gold-star gossip from Sharon Osbourne, 71. She's dished the dirt on James Corden being a shameless name-dropper, losing out on being a judge on the Masked Singer US because of Simon Cowell, and even claimed that Adele no longer has her trademark London accent since moving to LA.
Reports have suggested that Sharon has been paid an astonishing £100,000 per day to appear on the show - with reports also saying she will only stay in the house for the first five days of the social experiment.
On Friday night, Gary Goldsmith became the first contestant to be formally voted out of the house - but many fans have taken to social media to express their concern over the fact that Sharon will be leaving soon herself. One fan has vowed to start a crowdfunding page to raise money to gift to ITV to keep her on the show.
