Coronation Street viewers are convinced they've figured out school bully Mason Radcliffe's sinister cobbles link.

Only recently on the ITV soap, Sean Tully's son, Dylan, and schoolmate Mason have been bullying Maria Connor's son Liam, who contemplated ending his own life in heartbreaking scenes. Things took an even more disturbing turn last week when it was revealed to a shocked Gary and Maria that Mason had even threatened Liam with a knife.

After the shock bombshell, Gary and Maria took Liam to the police station, where he reported the incident. Later, the police called at Sean's home, saying they had reason to believe Dylan was hiding a zombie knife that was used in an assault but the knife couldn't be found.

Dylan, who has been hiding the knife for Mason, lied pretending he knew nothing about it and later Mason ordered Dylan to get the knife and meet up with him. However, it was another one of Mason's evil tactics as when a nervous Dylan waited, PC Craig Tinker approached, finding the knife in his bag and arresting him on the spot.

Taking to social media, viewers have been discussing the storyline with many fans thinking Mason could be linked to evil criminal Harvey Gaskell. Harvey is currently in prison for the death of Natasha Blakeman, who was murdered in 2021 after she was accidentally shot by Harvey, who mistook her for Leanne Battersby.

Harvey had escaped from prison and returned to the cobbles to seek revenge on Leanne after she got him arrested for his work as a drug lord. However, in a tragic case of mistaken identity, Harvey accidentally shot Natasha, thinking it was Leanne, as they were both wearing the same Halloween costume. After Natasha's death, her young son, Sam Blakeman, visited Harvey in prison, asking about his motives in a bid to move on from his mother's demise.

Harvey was last seen in 2022 but with the arrival of his enemy brother, Damon, on the cobbles earlier this year, Adam Barlow teamed up with the criminal in a bid to get rid of Damon once and for all. With Mason and Harvey being such prominent characters, viewers think there could be a link.

Taking to social media, one person said: "I Reckon Mason Has Something To Do With Harvey...", another person said: "I think he's his son", a different fan wrote: "Maybe Harvey’s his Dad" while another added: "It's weird with all that's going on we've not seen anything of Mason's parents so I presume they're someone we know."

It comes as actor Luca Toolan, who plays Mason, teased his character's secret backstory. Speaking to the press recently, the soap star said of Mason: "He doesn't have a father figure present, which explains a lot."

Luca added: "In my backstory for him, it's always been 'the weak are preyed on,' and he is the weak in the family. So he's being preyed on by his family members, and so in return, he lashes out and repeats what he sees in the family setting."
