EastEnders fans spot huge blunder in Sonia Fowler scene amid Whitney twist

EastEnders viewers have spotted a big error in a scene with Sonia Fowler tonight, as she returned to Walford after visiting Whitney and Bianca in Milton Keynes (Image: BBC)

EastEnders fans have noticed a huge blunder in a new scene with Sonia Fowler.

Sonia returned back to Walford following Whitney's accident, with Zack Hudson also heading back to the Square to earn more money ahead of the arrival of his and Whitney's baby. As Zack settled back into the Square, Sonia meanwhile was busy looking after Lily's daughter Charli whilst she finished a school project but her yearning to have a baby of her own is clearly weighing heavy on her.

Speaking to baby Charli in the scene, she said: "My Bex used to like Bargain Hunt. Course, it was David Dickinson back then, not this new bloke. But I think you've got very good taste. See? It ain't so bad is it?

"You know the best ones are the ones you don't expect. They all go for gold and silver, but it ain't worth much any more. Teaspoons, an old pot but every now and again, someone makes a fortune out of an old coat rack, just teaches you doesn't it?"

Sonia then got tearful, as she reflected on her own fertility journey, adding: "Life doesn't always go to plan. You've just got to hope it turns out right in the end. See I'm doing it now, we're a right pair aren't we?"

However, fans were left distracted after noticing that Sonia was not in fact watching Bargain Hunt but was watching Flog It.

One fan wrote: "Bit of an error in today's #EastEnders. Sonia taking about watching #BargainHunt with Becks, when it is clearly #FlogIt on the TV," as a second added: "Sonia that is a very old episode of Flog It." A third person penned on Twitter : "Lovely little Sonia moment on today's #EastEnders. Followed by "Home. To watch Bargain Hunt!"

Some fans are convinced that Sonia might have something to do with Whitney's exit storyline after she was injured in the car crash. Whilst she seems fine now, fans are worried she might end up not being OK.

One fan wrote: "Definitely getting the vibe that the baby will survive somehow and Sonia will adopt it, was very random of all the Sonia talk and then she suddenly pops up out of nowhere," whilst a second added: "I think Whitney will go into a coma and Sonia will have her baby otherwise I don't get Sonia being part of this storyline."
