Sharon Osbourne's frosty spat with daughter Kelly after her 'secret birth'
Sharon Osbourne left her daughter fuming after she revealed the name of Kelly's newborn.
The X Factor legend was over the moon to become a grandmother as Kelly welcomed her first child with DJ Sid in 2022. However, Sharon was the first to unveil the name of Kelly's baby which left the new mum hitting back on social media. When making a TV appearance, Sharon was asked if she was helping look after her newborn grandson.
She replied: "Yes. They're doing just so great. So great. She won't let a picture go out of him and I'm so proud of her." Sharon then said that her grandson is called Sidney, after Kelly's boyfriend, Sid Wilson. Following Sharon's appearance on TalkTV, daughter Kelly took to social media to fume over the baby news.
She wrote: "I am not ready to share him with the world. It is no one's place but mine to share any information on my baby." It was not the first time Kelly faced her parents revealing more than they should about her personal life. Dad Ozzy was the one to share with the world that Kelly was expecting a boy, despite her wishes to keep the baby's gender private.

Because he's so excited." Recently, Kelly opened up on the "worst ever fight" with her partner following the birth of baby Sidney. The 39-year-old, who has been friends with Sid for a quarter-century and dating him for almost three years, said they had a blazing row over their baby boy Sidney's surname.

In a recent episode of The Osbournes podcast, the former Fashion Police co-host said: "Okay, this is personal, and I didn't expect to ever talk about this but I'm going to. It’s the biggest fight me and my baby’s father have ever ever had, and probably ever will. I wanted our son to have both of our last names, and he wouldn't let me. We had a huge fight. I feel that I was forced into doing something I didn't wanna do and I can never ever, ever forgive him for that, but we can move on."
She explained they went to couples therapy and had a lot of "eye-opening conversations". They eventually came to a compromise and decided for their son to have both of their last names. Ozzy chimed in: "Well, it's in his favour," while Sharon clapped. Kelly also shared how she "hid" her body during her pregnancy as she was scared of being "fat shamed".
The reality star and singer shared the real reason she never posted photos of herself pregnant as she wrote: "There are no pictures of me pregnant because I hid for 9 months because I did not want to get fat-shamed." Kelly had been keeping her pregnancy under wraps until mum Sharon shared the exciting news.
