Celebrity Big Brother's Louis Walsh branded 'vile' by Colson Smith's co-star

Celebrity Big Brother has been back on our screen for 48 hours but tensions are already rising between some housemates.

Louis Walsh was the second star to enter the house, with the former X Factor judge helping his pal and lodger Sharon Osbourne with picking the three stars who could potentially be evicted later this week. During the launch night, Louis casually mentioned: "He's got big ears," when Coronation Street star Colson Smith entered the house.

Following his comments, Colson's co-star Sally Ann Matthews took to her X, formerly known as Twitter, profile to tweet: "That’s me cancelling Louis Walsh." During the second episode, when Louis entered the main house, he threw Sharon under the bus by claiming she was the sole person who picked Zeze Millz, David Potts and Gary Goldsmith as the three to be potentially evicted on Friday night.

Sharon, who was hiding in a room with Louis during the first night, initially picked Colson as one of the options but Louis convinced her to pick YouTube star Zeze. He claimed to the stars that he was just "the assistant" and that "Mrs O" made the final decision. Not only did he lie, he also hit out at Broadway star Marisha Wallace for singing and made rude remarks about Ibiza Weekender star David.

Sally returned to her social media last night to tweet: "Early days but so far he’s vile." Viewers rushed to the comment section to agree with the Corrie star, with one writing: "I agree! I feel so sorry for Colson and I’m not sure why! He deserves to win!!!" Another posted: "He seems to think he is the most famous, therefore the main character," along with an eye roll emoji.

On Tuesday night, all the housemates went into the main bedroom, with the exception of Sharon who got her own room, to find out where they would be sleeping and Louis quickly took charge and pushed other people out of their beds to get the one he wanted.

Louis previously opened up about why he signed up for the programme. Asked why he decided to join the show, which has seen him interact with the likes of Ekin-Su and Strictly's Nikita Kuzmin, he said: "Why not! I’m not getting any younger and I just want to have fun so when the opportunity for this came up I thought let’s do it. I just want to have fun and meet some nice people."

The star also admitted he was scared about sharing a room with others. Asked what his biggest fear was, he said: "Sharing a bedroom with so many other people, I’ve not done that since boarding school, and I hated it then."
