Sky Sports apologise after Ipswich star can't help himself in post-match chat
Sky Sports were forced to quickly apologise after Ipswich Town striker Ali Al-Hamadi used some choice language during an interview following his side's epic comeback win against Bristol City.
The Tractor Boys came from behind twice in a hard-fought 3-2 victory to stay second in the Championship, putting them on course for automatic promotion to the Premier League with just 10 games to go. Al-Hamadi, 22, scored within a minute of coming on as a second-half substitute, making it 1-1 before visitors City restored their advantage.
Once Conor Chaplin had made it 2-2, Al-Hamadi was given the chance to put Ipswich ahead at Portman Road from the penalty spot. Unfortunately for the Liverpool-raised Iraq international, his shot was saved in the bottom left-hand corner by Robins goalkeeper Max O'Leary.
Luckily for Al-Hamadi, team-mate Leif Davis - who set up Ipswich's first two goals - found the back of the net with one minute of normal time remaining and sealed a vital victory. Post-match, Davis and Al-Hamadi spoke to Sky Sports and the latter's comments didn't go down well with the broadcaster.
"I'm happy to come on and work my b******* off - sorry!" laughed the ex- Wimbledon striker, who joined Kieran McKenna's promotion hopefuls in January.
Viddal Riley warns he is "too elite" to have toughness tested in next fightSky's reporter quickly responded by saying: "Apologies for the language there!"
Having failed to make the grade at Swansea City before a difficult spell with Wycombe Wanderers, Al-Hamadi made his name in League Two with Wimbledon, scoring 27 goals and registering eight assists across 48 games. "It's an amazing story from the outside. I'm not shying away from the challenge, I love it. I'm here because I deserve to be here," the 22-year-old added.

"I'm ambitious as a player, we're ambitious as a club and just to join a team at such a high level and high intensity - there was a point in the middle of the season when it was tough, but I've adjusted and you've got amazing players and the boss have made me feel welcome. It's just about trying to make an impact in any way possible."
Ipswich have now won six in a row to boost their promotion chances, capitalising on a slip-up from now third-placed Leeds on Saturday. McKenna and co next head to face Cardiff City away from home this Saturday, the day after Leeds visit Yorkshire rivals Sheffield Wednesday.
