Working in a nursery is no easy task and one former worker has shared how parents sending their children in with "adorable" items could be causing further chaos.

While you might think that childcare educators get most annoyed by tantrums or children being cheeky, one woman has revealed it's actually what they wear and bring along with them to nursery. Abigail Fritts, who lives in Ohio, US, says there are four very common items children turn up to nursey with that she believes parents should stop allowing.

The mum, originally from Florida, took to TikTok to share what items parents might want to rethink ahead of drop-off. She raked in over one million views, and her page has over four million likes. First on the list of no-nos - high-top trainers, as they can be a nightmare to get on and off children's feet and the laces can be time-consuming.

Abigail said: "They are adorable! But even the zip ones are hard to put on." One individual agreed and said: "I can confirm. Especially Converse, oh my got. I used to want them for my future babies - no thank you." Another added: "Baby Air Jordan's. So cute but they do not stay tied and are so hard to put on wriggly feet."

Next up on Abigail's list of what not to pack for nursery are sippy cups - specifically those with a blue bottom and pink top. "I just hate those specific sippy cups," she said.

Parents often put their little ones in little rompers so their child is comfy and they don't have to put multiple pieces of clothing on their child. But Abigail said rompers or onesies with buttons can be a nightmare and time-consuming for nursery staff. Several other TikTok users agreed.

One individual said: "The pull-ups that don't reconnect on the sides! You've got to undress the whole kid when they got potty, shoes and all." Another added: "People who send their freshly potty-trained or preschool kiddos in overalls - way to make it as hard for them as possible."

One other said: "Or in designer! Parents would be like 'Make sure they don't get anything on their Gucci onesie'."

And Abigail said parents who put sweet hair clips or bows should be prepared for them to potentially get lost. One TikTok user said: "They inevitably come out, and if the worker doesn't notice, they'll get lost or accidentally sent home with the wrong kid."
