A woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder after the body of a young girl was found at a home in the West Midlands.
Police found the girl covered with a number of injuries at the property in Rowley Regis at around 12.10pm yesterday. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 33-year-old woman known to the victim has been arrested and taken into custody for questioning. Meanwhile, a cordon has been set in place at the crime scene and a large police presence could be seen overnight.
