Another added: “I loved this night cream! It felt beautiful going on; sunk into my skin without feeling clammy or greasy. My skin also felt plumper and smoother the next morning, so I would agree with the statement. I wouldn't associate the fragrance with sleep, but it was pleasant enough. I would definitely recommend this product.”

“The night cream is superb,” penned a third. “It is working well on and also less wrinkles on my face already.”

One shopper is even on her third jar and says it’s cheaper than some of her other favourites, commenting: “I’ve spent a fortune on creams over the years but never really used No7. I bought this to try as it had good reviews and was quite a bit cheaper than some of the brands I’ve used (Elemis and Clinique are favourites).

“The cream is rich but not greasy and absorbs well, I have oily skin and it’s not too heavy a cream for me, I would think it would work well on drier skins too. It has a light smell which is clean and pleasant and not overpowering. My skin looks firmer and brighter, the skin on my neck is tighter and clearer. I’m and a little does really go a long way. I do believe that you need to use a cream for at least 2-3 weeks to really see the benefits and this cream will not disappoint you.”

However, some have been put off by the thicker consistency of the cream, adding: “I love the cooling effect of this product on my skin. It's thicker than the day cream by a long way. The consistency is akin to custard. It's too gloopy for me. This put me off the product because it left residue on my face after application.”

It’s not the only product on offer for a tenner at the high street chain, though, with a number of deals well worth taking a look at, since they’ll go back up to full price tomorrow. Among them is the .
