Geri Horner issues Red Bull CEO husband Christian an ultimatum amid scandal
Geri Horner has reportedly given her husband Christian Horner an ultimatum after he was accused of allegedly sending messages to a female employee.
It has been claimed that the former Spice Girl, 51, wants Christian, 50, to cut all ties with the Red Bull colleague who accused him of inappropriate behaviour. Christian has since been cleared of wrongdoing in a team investigation.
Last week, Geri was pictured supporting her husband in Bahrain as the pair put on a loved-up display amid the ongoing scandal. However, reports claim that Geri reportedly laid down strict ground rules for her husband before they smiled for the cameras as they posed hand-in-hand.
The Sun reports that Geri wants Christian's Red Bull colleague 'out of the picture' following the accusations. Speaking to the publication, a source claimed: "Although she smiled for the cameras at the grand prix, Geri has laid down some strict ground rules.
"One is that Christian cuts or reduces contact with the woman - but that is difficult because of her role at Red Bull. And she has definitely had her say over what messages he sends. For obvious reasons, Geri would like the female colleague - who she knew before her appointment - to be out of the picture as much as possible. But they cannot sack her as there are no grounds to do so.”

Geri gave a smile as she took her husband-of-nine-year's hand as they made their way into the Paddock prior to the first race of the season at Bahrain International circuit. There had been rumours Geri would not attend following recent allegations about her partner, who is the father to her seven-year-old son Montague.
Red Bull CEO Christian was last week cleared of misconduct following an investigation into allegations about his relations with a female employee. Red Bull Austria, the team's parent company, said in a statement on Wednesday that the grievance has been dismissed. "The complainant has a right of appeal. Red Bull is confident that the investigation has been fair, rigorous and impartial," they added.
A spokesperson confirmed that the report would remain confidential between those involved and the third parties who assisted in the investigation. However, hours later messages alleged to have been sent by Christian to a female co-worker were leaked online and shared by thousands of people.
Geri had been on a private jet heading to the Gulf state when the texts went public. A source told the Mirror the sandal had 'really taken a toll' on the mum and she was locked in 'crisis talks' with her team about how to respond.
The day before, Christian refused to respond to allegations about the texts - which Mirror Sport has seen - telling reporters 'I am not going to comment on anonymous speculation from unknown sources." He added: "I respected the integrity of the independent investigation and fully cooperated with it every step of the way. It was a thorough and fair investigation conducted by an independent specialist barrister and it has concluded, dismissing the complaint made."
Geri and Christian tied the knot in May 2015 and share seven-year-old son Montague George Hector Horner. While Geri is also mum to 17-year-old daughter Bluebell Madonna from a previous relationship and Christian has a daughter from his previous marriage.
The Mirror has approached Geri and Christian's representatives for comment.
