Gone are the days of being able to take any cabin bag with you as you jet off on holiday, the majority of airlines now charge travellers for a bag any bigger than a backpack, hiking up the amount it costs to fly. And to beat it jet setters are starting to bundle as much as possible in an under-the-seat bag.

Including TikToker and social media influencer Emily Canham who's created a huge following thanks to her lifestyle, fashion and luxury travel content. With more than 260,000 views her latest 'travel tok' saw her prep for a 72-hour trip to Morocco using one of Amazon's viral under-the-seat cabin bags.

"I've made the commitment to hand luggage only", she said as she introduced the video while packing for a two-night trip to Morocco, and it seemed she's chosen the popular £14 Ryanair Cabin Bag from Amazon. It's become a popular hack for frequent flyers as a way to avoid luggage costs.

As well as Ryanair the bag is also compatible with Wizz Air and easyJet (although easyJet has a slightly bigger free personal allowance) and despite looking small, Emily proved just how much can be squeezed in. With 16,500 likes, and more than 700 saves - likely eager travellers looking to follow the same travel tip - Emily managed to fit in more than three outfits for her trip and a host of content creator essentials.

As she said in TikTok: "Firstly in the bottom compartment I'm doing my tripod and then I'm putting in my one pair of shoes. I'm taking just one bikini this is from Hunza G and it rolls up tiny which is amazing. We're going for the roll technique because it can definitely fit more."

Emily then went to show that the bag fit in three outfits, including a shorts and shirt set, a pair of pyjamas, a jam-packed bag of toiletries (an essential in my opinion) and even a crossbody Longchamp bag. Electrical must-haves like chargers and adapters were also popped in the bottom compartment, with even enough space for her laptop to fit on top.

Antler has become another highlighy sought after brand for luggage-fee ditching thanks to its Chelsea Overnight bag range, as well as Dunelm's more affordable £12.50 holdall.

Depending on the airline you're flying with there's different criteria depending on what you can bring on board with your for free, with some long haul airlines allowing a small cabin bags each, others limiting the size to just one backpack. Popular airlnes for European breaks including Ryanair, easyJet, and Whizzair charge for hold luggage. Read our full round-up here.
