The sprinter, hurdler and bobsledder—real name 'Lori'—detailed one obsessed fan even turned up at her home, while another broke into the Olympic training centre in an attempt to meet her. Jones, 40, posted a glum-looking selfie on Instagram, where she also shared tips to 'carry protection' and contact the police in the event one of her 569,000 followers was in a similar position.

"In the last year I’ve had three different male stalkers," wrote the three-time world champion track star. "Three times now where guys have crossed the line, jeopardized my and my friends (sic) safety & altered my life.

"One guy broke into the Olympic training center and stayed over night in hopes to find me. Another guy has continued to harass my friends in attempts to reach me.

"And lastly, a guy stalked my house and told the police he knew me from Instagram and I invited him to come live with me. I’m DONE. If there was any confusion here is me being very f*****g clear: I’m not interested. EVER. This is not the way to go."

Included in the Instagram post were screenshots from Jones' Ring doorbell camera, showing her home intruder hanging around the house. Layered on the image was more text that read: "To make it clear: I DO NOT WANT TO DATE ANYONE FROM INSTAGRAM."

Jones is a devout Christian and has been candid regarding her stance that she won't have sex before marriage.
