Scarlett Moffatt is grateful to Ant and Dec for their support throughout her career.

The TV star, who won I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! in 2016, says the Geordie duo have been a huge help to her. "I'm always so grateful to them. You know, they have a say on who goes on I'm A Celeb and then obviously I went on to win it - that experience was so amazing and gave me so much confidence in myself," she said.

Scarlett, who is engaged to Scott Dobinson and has a son called Jude, also credits Ant and Dec with helping her to develop her presenting skills. "And then I got the opportunity to do Saturday Night Takeaway with them. Once you've done live stuff like that, nothing in telly compares. It was a massive learning curve but one I am so thankful for."

In addition to their professional support, Scarlett says Ant and Dec have also been there for her personally. "They were so lovely when I lived down in London. I didn't know anyone down there at the time so they really did take me under their wing. I'd go up to the house for Sunday dinner and stuff. I thought that was so lovely."

"Even to say that out loud sounds insane - up here in this part of the world especially they are like the Holy Grail!". Scarlett, who gave birth to Jude in June last year, said to OK! that she and Dec still exchange monthly texts. "I know how busy these people are so that's nice."

The boys are always on her mind, especially during breakfast. "Up here a couple of boiled eggs on toast is called an 'Ant and Dec'" she chuckled. "I remember winning I'm A Celeb and thinking 'if this is the only thing that. ever happens like on TV I am so lucky. The fact that I'm still in this industry - I am grateful."

She's still a huge fan of Gogglebox. "Scott and I watch it now and use it as a bit of a guide as to what to catch on TV! " she giggles. "It sounds mad - looking at people watching TV - but it just works; there is always someone on there you can relate to."It's also one of those quite rare shows where you can just turn it on at any time, even watch old reruns, and still laugh out loud."
