Mauricio Pochettino responds after furious Chelsea fans chant ex-manager's name
Mauricio Pochettino declared he is ready to fight for his job at Chelsea - insisting he is not concerned about his fractured relationship with supporters.
There were chants of "F*** off Mauricio" from the away end at the Gtech Community Stadium while Chelsea supporters were also bellowing Jose Mourinho 's name. Pochettino said in response to the strong-worded chants: "I am fighting with all my senses to try to provide the team with the best tools to work, improve and to play in the best way, score goals and win games.
"It's not always possible, today is my 52nd birthday, I know this business very well but I won't give up, I will fight. I will fight tomorrow and the next game. Look, I understand this business but yes, we'll keep going."
When quizzed on the chants, Pochettino added: "I didn't hear it to be honest. I don't know, I need to believe what you are telling me. It's normal, we were losing the game 2-1 and it's about expressing their frustration and of course, we were responsible. I am responsible as I am the head coach."
Pochettino said when asked if he is worried about his deteriorating relationship with Chelsea's fans: "No, I'm not worried. We need to accept this relationship, I've told you, I think someone asked me if I feel the love from the fans, no.

"We need to build our relationship but between the coaching staff and the fans you earn your relationship through winning games. But at the moment, we are not matching the expectation so we are not going to feel the love.
"I think the relationship is good. If they did what they did, it's frustration. I accept that fans are emotional like this," Pochettino added after the 2-2 draw.

Mads Roerslev scored his first goal of the season to bring the Bees level, with an acrobatic Yoane Wissa effort making it 2-1 to the hosts. Axel Disasi scored an equaliser for Chelsea but neither side managed to find a third goal.
