Geri Horner 'knew of Christian Horner's female employee' before sext scandal
Geri Horner is said to have been left 'heartbroken and humiliated' after hundreds of sexts alleged to have been sent from her husband Christian to a female member of his team have been leaked.
The alleged betrayal is said to sting all the more for the former Spice Girl as she is said to have known the woman at the heart of the scandal and even given her approval for the woman to work on her Red Bull F1 chief husband's team.
This week Christian was cleared of misconduct following allegations of inappropriate behaviour towards a female colleague. The dad-of-two was grilled for eight hours by a lawyer after an investigation was launched by Red Bull GmbH and denied the allegations throughout.
His wife Geri, 51, put on a show of solidarity with her partner as she joined his team in Bahrain this weekend- after screenshots of his messages went viral on social media. Geri made an appearance at Saturday's race having flown to the first Grand Prix of the 2024 season by private jet. The former singer was pictured holding hands with her husband of nine years, despite the alleged sexual nature of the leaked messages.
According to The Sun, Geri knew of the female employee at the heart of the scandal.

She trusted him when he tried to play down the scandal. He always told her he’d done nothing wrong. This will really hurt Geri, who has put everything into their marriage."
Friends are said to be 'deeply concerned' for Geri following the heartbreaking headlines, saying the 'fragile' star went into 'meltdown' when she heard the allegations.
While a source close to Horner's accuser has now spoken to The Mail, outlining the anonymous individual's unhappiness with the ongoing situation. "In her way of thinking it's all very one-sided and she's been crucified," the source said. "It's obviously not going to rest now because of these leaks."
Horner issued a strongly-worded statement on Thursday, reiterating that he denies the allegations made against him.
"I will not comment on anonymous speculation, but to reiterate I have always denied the allegations," he said. "I respected the integrity of the independent investigation and fully cooperated with it every step of the way.

A statement from the team's parent company, issued just days before the start of the new campaign, addressed the allegations against Horner.
"The independent investigation into the allegations made against Mr Horner is complete, and Red Bull can confirm that the grievance has been dismissed," the statement read. "The complainant has a right of appeal. Red Bull is confident that the investigation has been fair, rigorous and impartial.
"The investigation report is confidential and contains the private information of the parties and third parties who assisted in the investigation, and therefore we will not be commenting further out of respect for all concerned. Red Bull will continue striving to meet the highest workplace standards."
