Christian Horner 'reluctant' to match Geri's show of unity after 'sext storm'
Geri Horner pulled out all the stops to appear 'fiercely loyal' to her husband Christian in their first public appearance since allegations the F1 boss sent messages of a sexual nature to a female employee.
The couple made a clear show of solidarity as they arrived hand in hand for the first Grand Prix of the season in Bahrain days after the scandal took another turn with an alleged text leak. The pair put on a loved-up display as they chatted animately in the Red Bull hospitality suite before the race and even sharing an intimate smooch, with their arms tightly wrapped around each other.
Geri, 51, seemed determined to shut down any lingering doubts about the state of her nine year marriage as she beamed at the cameras while supporting Christian dressed in a dazzling white mini dress.
While Geri appeared confident in her display of unity, Christian appeared 'slightly reluctant' to match her, according to body language expert Judi James.
Casting her eye over the first snaps of the pair since the scandal broke, Judi accuses Geri of treating Christian like a 'trophy' as she tried to take 'ownership' of the public outing.

"Her chin is up and her lip clamp smile suggests enigmatic resilience. She still holds his hand like he’s the trophy and even pulls the hand clasp closer to her own body in a display of ownership.
"Geri face-gazes her husband to try to create a look of emphatic unity although he appears slightly reluctant to match her proud gaze."

The l team principal faces allegations relating to the leak of hundreds of WhatsApp messages which appeared to be written by him to a female colleague.
The messages came on Thursday, 24 hours after Christian was cleared to continue as Red Bull head following an internal probe into “inappropriate behaviour” by the F1 team’s parent company, Red Bull GmbH. The 50-year-old has always denied the claims.

The WhatsApp messages were sent from an anonymous email account to 149 members of the F1 paddock – including the president of the sport’s governing body Mohammed ben Sulayem, F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali and the grid’s nine other team principals, as well as members of the media.
Christian continues to operate in his role as team principal and CEO. He spoke only once about the latest allegations as he made his way from Red Bull’s hospitality suite to the team’s garage on Friday.
“I am not going to comment on anonymous speculation from unknown sources,” he said. When asked what comes next, Horner replied: “We go racing.”
