Cher looks unrecognisable with new look at cocktail party with young boyfriend
Cher debuted a whole new look as she attended an exclusive cocktail party in Paris with her 38-year-old boyfriend Alexander Edwards.
The two artists were seen together during Paris Fashion Week on Friday night and looked loved-up as they strolled hand-in-hand. Cher, who is known for her love of wigs, wore an all-black outfit encrusted with jewels while sporting bleach-blonde hair.
She styled her hair in a wavy updo and wore natural make-up for the evening. As they posed for photos at the Byredo Cocktail Party, the 77-year-old "Believe" icon, who ditched her natural dark brunette hair for a bold new look, clutched onto her men while smiling widely.

For the event, he wore a black tee layered with a black leopard print jacket and blue jeans, showing off his tattoos on the neck and hands while sporting brightly painted nails.

Earlier this week, the couple were seen wearing matching outfits as they both donned baggy blue jeans, black oversized blazers, black tops and black shoes. Cher showed off her youthful looks as she beamed at the camera with her signature long black locks in loose waves.
The couple looked in love as they leaned into each other for the snaps. Cher is said to have met her boyfriend at Paris Fashion Week and have been dating since November 2022. They reportedly split last year but soon reunited with each other. Last month the pair proved they are as strong as ever with a loved-up photo on social media.
Cher appeared to be crying as she sat on the lap of her music executive boyfriend. The photo showed her tenderly holding his face with one hand and Alexander could be seen smiling at the Believe hitmaker. Cher captioned the snap: "Love is Love." Many fans have congratulated Cher on finding happiness with Alexander, who shares a child with model Amber Rose.
One said: "You seem so happy and that’s the only important thing. I love seeing it! Sometimes happiness is so hard to find, you take it where you find it and don’t apologize for it. That’s one of the many things I love and respect about you.” Another added: “Your love is so beautiful."
The pop star has brushed off any criticism over her 40-year age gap with Alexander, simply hitting back: "Love doesn't know math". However, Cher did warn Alexander she was "too old" for him when they first started getting to know each other. "I had been telling all my friends, ‘We're too old to go out with really younger men, and I will never fall in love on text.’ So I did what I said not to do!" she told People.
Cher admitted she "was not surprised" about the interest in their romance and age difference but insisted she just "loves being with him". The award-winning hitmaker said even she thought the relationship was "doomed" after looking at "the statistics", but admitted their romance has defied the odds.
