Louise Thompson's fiance shared a heartbreaking update online on Thursday, just hours on from announcing his partner is back in hospital.

Former Made In Chelsea star Louise, 33, has suffered from numerous health issues since almost dying during childbirth in 2021, recently spending over two weeks in hospital and sharing a harrowing account of her experience earlier this month earlier this month.

On Wednesday night, Louise's fiance Ryan revealed that the mum-of-one was back in hospital once again. Taking to his Instagram Stories the following day, Ryan sharing a heartbreaking update regarding his family as he shared a sweet snap of himself giving his son Leo-Hunter Libbey a kiss.

Captioning the picture, Ryan told his followers: "He saw a picture of mummy on my phone this morning which really upset him. So getting him to this point where [he's] relaxed and gave daddy a kiss. Took a while today. Leo is turning into such a compassionate loving little man - I'm so proud of him (and his mum). Praying this weekend we will be home together. Enough tests now - leave us be."

Revealing Louise was back in hospital on Wednesday night, Ryan told his Instagram followers about a gift he'd bought his fiancee to life her spirits. "Picked up a little gift for Louise earlier this morning. Unfortunately, she had to go back into hospital at 3am on Sunday morning and she's still there," he shared.

The dad-of-one hoped the headphones would help take her mind off the situation: "I'm hoping these will transport her to her own little world whilst she's on the ward recovering," he added. The mum-of-one, who has been in and out of hospital since giving birth to Leo, their son, has been dealing with some health challenges and PTSD caused by a traumatic childbirth experience.

Having spent 17 days in hospital previously, Louise was discharged only recently after going through severe pain on returning from a holiday in Antigua. After being discharged earlier this month, Louise revealed to her Instagram followers that she became seriously sick whilst on a recent family holiday. Despite feeling very ill, she tried to ignore what was happening to her so she could enjoy her time with her young son and start the year on a positive note.

Shockingly, she told her fans she was "losing cup fulls of blood" every 20 minutes. Eventually, Louise opened up to her family about what was happening. As she had struggled with severe health problems before, she decided to book an early flight home to the U. K and went straight to A&E.

Louise and Ryan were overjoyed to welcome their first "little miracle baby" in November 2021, but son Leo-Hunter's birth was fraught with drama, leaving both mum and baby "dancing with death". Despite giving birth in November, Louise almost didn't make it home for Christmas due to serious complications.

Mum-of-one Louise was confined to a wheelchair and spent a month in hospital recovering. She kept the arrival of her first child private for five weeks before sharing her experience with fans. Doctors worked tirelessly to save Louise's life - with the grateful star later admitting that she doesn't know if she would be alive without the NHS. Just two days before Christmas 2021, Louise announced the arrival of her baby on Instagram.

She also shared the happy news that she was being discharged from hospital to continue her recovery at home. "5 weeks ago I gave birth to my beautiful baby boy Leo-Hunter Libbey weighing in at 7lbs. Unfortunately it wasn't the easiest start for either of us. One ended up in NICU and the other ended up in ICU," she told her many Instagram followers at the time.

Louise continued to recall how little Leo-Hunter got better quite fast, but she had to fight "so many bad things" and the experience left her looking at life differently. "To dance with death twice brings a whole new view of the world," she shared openly in her message.
