As the warmer weather emerges, egg chairs are set to be incredibly popular for yet another year as Brits aim to bring that spa-like feeling into your own outdoor space.

The coveted hanging garden pods often come with a hefty price tag, but bargain hunters have happened upon a newly-launched option that’s cheaper than Dunelm, and even Aldi.

Manchester-based retailer Online Home Shop has this week released their own take on the highly sought-after outdoor chair, and it’s perfect for gardens of all sizes.

Coming in at £119, it’s a fraction of the cost of its competitors, coming in 80 per cent cheaper than , and half the price of with cushions.

Available in a natural bamboo or slate grey basket weave, the OHS chair will fit seamlessly into any outdoor space and is ideal for smaller gardens, as the cosy accent chair folds down slim and compact when not in use.

It’s also cheaper than Dunel’s - as such, you’ll be pretty hard pressed to find a cheaper egg chair this spring.

Ashley Furness, Trend Expert at OHS, said: "We provide our customers quality home goods and furniture for less. The egg-shaped seat and curved back provide a comfortable place to relax or work, while the chair's minimalist design and neutral colour options are bang on trend for 2024."

It’s so new, it’s yet to rack up any reviews from shoppers, however, our shopping team have tried out a number of the retailer’s winter warmers and have been impressed. They’ve earned a reputation for offering great value products at low prices and are popular among discount and couponing groups on Facebook.

We’ve previously reviewed their , as well as their answer to the hooded blanket trend, with a , both of which were fantastic for the price.

Other affordable pieces set to transform gardens ahead of the summer include this , coming in at £5.50 instead of £10, as well as this £11 and which is now £30 down from £34.
