Junior Andre aims to look like dad Peter at 51 as they oil up for gym selfie

Junior Andre is drawing inspiration from his dad Peter Andre for his dream physique.

Peter is making the most of his 51st birthday celebrations, kicking of the day with a cheeky espresso and hugs from his children and wife. But there was one important part of the day that he wasn't going to miss out on - the gym.

Heading off for some cardio and strength training, Peter took the time to whip off his shirt for a quick topless selfie with his eldest son Junior, 18. Posing in the mirror, the pair showed off their bulky muscles and rock hard abs as they gazed in front of the camera pensively. He wrote in the caption: "Next is my workout with my son. He did give me a hug but it was more of a shoulder tap."

Junior - who has followed in his dad's footsteps by pursuing a career in music - later shared the post on his Instagram Story. It was teased that he's inspired by Peter, with him writing alongside the post: "Trying to look like you at 51 dad."

Junior is the eldest of Peter's two children with his ex-wife Katie Price, 45. The former couple are also parents to daughter Princess Andre, 16. Whilst Peter and his wife Emily MacDonagh, 34, are parents to Millie, 10, and Theo, seven.

And it was announced last year that Peter and Emily are expecting another baby together. They shared a selfie, which showed Emily holding up baby scan photos, and wrote: "We are delighted to share the news with you all. A new addition to our family in 2024. The kids are so excited. So are we."

It came amid Peter's birthday this week, which Junior marked in a separate post on social media (Instagram)

The recent comment by Junior came amid Peter's birthday, which the former marked with another post on the platform. Alongside a photo of them on holiday, he wrote: Happy birthday dad." He added: "Love you unconditionally."

Peter's wife Emily also paid tribute. She wrote in a post this week: "Wishing my lovely husband an amazing birthday. Glad you had a great day and thank you as always for everything you do for us all. You are the best and I love you so much. Happy birthday."

Peter shared on his Instagram Story that the family went out for a meal together last night for the occasion. He posted footage from Le Raj restaurant in Epsom, where he was greeted with a chocolate cake that had sparklers on top.

Guests marked the occasion by serenading him at one point during the evening. Whilst another clip that was shared with his followers this week showed Peter cutting into the cake, seemingly assisted by one of his kids, at the restaurant.
