Kai Widdrington shares new sweet nickname Nadiya Bychkova's daughter gave him
Kai Widdrington has a close bond with girlfriend Nadiya Bychkova's daughter, Mila.
The Strictly Come Dancing professional described his co-star and girlfriend's daughter, 7, as "one of the cleverest little girls I have ever met". Kai, 28, and Nadiya, 34, met on Strictly at the end of 2021, falling head over heels for each other, but the couple initially kept their relationship secret.
Kai and Nadiya went public with their relationship in 2022, with the latter previously revealing how the happiness of her daughter, who she shares with her ex-fiancé, Slovenian footballer Matija Škarabot, was her number one priority.
During an appearance on Loose Women on Tuesday, Kai and Nadiya opened up on his close relationship with the seven-year-old and the sweet nickname she has for him. He said: "It was very important that we get it right.
"First of all when we got together, we wanted to make sure that we want to be together and it's all going to go well. After meeting her, she is one of the cleverest little girls I have ever met. She speaks four languages."

Kai has a close relationship with Nadiya and her daughter Mila (Instagram)"She has a new nickname for me - I remember last time I was on the show, it was Kai Lemon Pie, but now it's Kai Cotton Candy Pie for 2024," the ballroom and latin dancer continued.
The Strictly couple went on to reveal that Mila may follow in her mother's footsteps. Kai shared: "She likes dancing with mummy."
Nadiya explained: "We are practising later, she's preparing for a little competition later this week. I don't really get involved.
"I want her to have her own experience, I don't want to be that parent who's saying no, you need to do that. I'm just there watching her dance and I feel so proud."
"Mila is seven so she's quite a busy young lady. On weekends it's art classes and dance classes and ballet. Now I'm planning my schedule around her schedule," Nadiya added.
Kai and Nadiya previously addressed their new upcoming tour Behind The Magic as well as their relationship while on Lorraine in December 2023.
Kai said: "We're very different styles, I am very old school, traditional, you know English, British dancer whereas Nadiya is very, well you know I think Nadiya is the most beautiful dancer in the world personally."
"But they say opposites attract," he concluded, while Nadiya remarked: "We compliment each other."
Kai revealed they wanted to take fans behind the scenes with their 2024 tour. "We want to show the audience what is gong on backstage and all the interesting and tricky moments," he said.
