Victoria Beckham has hinted her daughter-in-law Nicola Peltz-Beckham will hit the catwalk to model new looks in her upcoming fashion show.

The 49-year-old Spice Girl has been creating fashion clothing since 2008 and she will be showing her 2024 Autumn Winter collection in Paris this month. The star has hinted that her 29-year-old daughter-in-law Nicola will be modelling one of her new creations.

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Victoria shared a mirror selfie of herself standing in the shadow of Nicola - who is married to her 24-year-old son Brooklyn. The snap showed Nicola wearing a sheer dress while Victoria was dressed all in black. The former singer was propping herself up with crutches while Nicola rested her hands on her shoulders.

She shared the snap along with a caption stating: "Pre-show prep and fittings in Paris!! Kisses @NicolaAnnePeltzBeckham xx" - and along with a French flag emoji. Nicola herself responded to the message to gush: “I love you so much,” along with two pink heart emojis.

Fans noted Victoria’s style, however, rather than what Nicola was wearing - as many noted the way she was styling out her injury. One fan noted in the comments section of the post: “Iconic! Boot on one foot and heel on the other!” And another typed: “Awwwwwww Victoria! Powering through! Wish I was there to support you!”

Victoria is bravely battling on as she prepares for her Paris Fashion Week show on Friday - struggling through injury after breaking her foot at the gym. Husband David, 49, had revealed the former singer had broken her foot, writing online: “Apparently my wife's little accident in the gym was a clean break.”

While Victoria's injury will heal in time, it appears a bitter rift with her daughter-in-law has already been repaired. Last year, rumours were rife that the ladies were at loggerheads over the extravagant marriage of Nicola and Brooklyn in April 2022. Fans suggested the Spice Girl and the billionaire heiress had fallen out as many noted Nicola had shunned Victoria’s fashion label to design her wedding dress - choosing instead a Valentino Haute Couture gown.

Nicola denied there was a feud between them during an interview with Cosmopolitan magazine, saying: "I've said this so many times: There's no feud. I don't know. No one ever wants to write the nice things… It's really weird, actually, whether it's my life or someone else's life or whatever, when you know the truth and then you read something totally wrong."

Victoria herself has previously confessed that she often struggles with designing - and hires people at her fashion label to do all the work. She confessed to The Independent in 2015: “I have a different way of expressing myself because I haven't had that formal training.”

And she went into more detail about her approach to designing in a chat with the New York Times. She said: “When I’m starting work on the collection, I just sit with my team and talk to them about what I like, what I find inspiring, what I’m desiring, what I want to wear, what I haven’t done before. We have fit models we work with, and we’ll either work the fit model or we’ll drape on a stand. I can draw, but badly. I think that’s okay. No one’s expecting me to do it the normal way.

“And that’s a good thing. But I do sometimes take all my clothes off and drape on myself. It’s just a bit more pleasant for everybody if we do it on models.”
