Sky Mobile has just dropped a SIM upgrade but it doesn't compare to £10 rival

March is just around the corner and avid tech fans will know that means a jam-packed month for new devices, launches, and the latest price drops. Apple is expected to launch its new iPhone 15 colour, Amazon's just dropped a brand-new home device, and all Android phones could be boosted with satellite texting - but it's a new SIM from Sky Mobile that has everyone talking.

Our team of techies has been weighing up Sky's new spring deals, as it adds a 25GB SIM giving shoppers £4 a month off the usual SIM-only price. This means you can get 25GB a month for £12 a month which when compared to the previous £16 a month rate saves you £48 across the year.

At first glance this may look like a mega saving, especially considering you can transfer your data allowance from month to month if you have any spare, but it doesn't compare to this much cheaper £10 rival. Yes, this latest offer from SMARTY will give you a huge 60GB a month.... and the bigger data amount isn't the only perk.

Unlike Sky Mobile, SMARTY shoppers aren't tied into a 12-month contract, meaning you'll have the ease of leaving the provider as and when you like, as long as you give 30-days notice. Of course this added ease of flexibility makes it a lot cheaper but even if you were to take it out for 12 months, you'd pay £120 compared to £144 at Sky - at get 35GB more data per month.

The 60GB plan at SMARTY includes unlimited UK calls and texts, unrestricted tethering (so you could double it up for internet too), and up to 12GB of data to use in the EU. Another hard-to-beat deal is its bigger 100GB a month plan, which costs users just £12 a month.

These range from £6 a month for 6GB of data all the way up to £20 for an unlimited data amount, and as the name would suggest it includes phone calls, and texts. Anyone on a smaller budget however can choose from its>
