Gogglebox fans have had their minds blown as the Baggs family have shared details of another family member that many had no idea existed.

The popular family, from Essex, featured on the hit Channel 4 reality series from 2020 until 2022 - but many fans still keep up to date with the family’s antics via their social media posts. Gogglebox viewers will recognise dad Terry, 57, mum Lisa, 51, and their sons Joe, 25, and George, 19.

However, there is a third son - in the form of 35-year-old Danny. On Monday, Lisa celebrated the fact it was Danny’s birthday by sharing a montage of photographs of him on her Instagram page. The collection of snaps showed Danny as a boy all the way through to his current form.

And while fans were delighted to see the rarely-seen son - who has appeared on the family's social media posts in the past - many were stunned to learn of his existence. Lisa whipped her followers into a frenzy when she dropped the treasure trove of image. She shared the snaps alongside a caption stating: “Can’t believe my mini me my little raver turns 35 today ! Happy Birthday to my beautiful @dbayley 35 yrs of loving you... Proud to be your mum ..Love you always."

Fans were overjoyed to get a peek inside Lisa's family life - and were quick to send birthday wishes to her son. One follower wrote in response: "Love these photos, Happy 35th Birthday." Another typed: "Happy birthday, Danny. I hope you have the best day." And another gushed: "Happy birthday handsome!"

Indeed, many followers were stunned to see throwback snaps of Lisa herself amid the montage. One lustful follower wrote in reaction: "happy birthday to your son but bloody hell you was smoking hot back then." And another praised the entire Baggs family for their looks, writing: "Happy birthday to your son . x had to say you are a good looking family." And other fans were stunned to discover Danny exists at all. One baffled follower commented: "Happy birthday secret son," alongside a rolling-on-the-floor-laughing emoji.

The Baggs family left Gogglebox fans devastated in 2022 when they announced they had decided to walk away from the show. They issued a statement at the time, saying: After 3 incredible seasons on Channel 4’s Gogglebox we have taken the decision to leave the show. We have loved every second of being part of the Gogglebox family and it’s truly been the opportunity of a lifetime.

“With lots of exciting opportunities approaching for us all, we just couldn’t commit to filming another series, but are so grateful for the opportunity. Thank you for all your support whilst we have been on the show. We hope that you’re as excited as we are for what’s coming next! Much love, the Baggs." They had joined the show in 2020 during the sixteenth season of the show.

They skipped season seventeen, but returned for season eighteen, and remained on the sofa until they quit after season nineteen in 2022. Lisa and her two sons Joe and George now feature on a popular YouTube and podcast series called Not My Bagg - a pun on their last name. The family discuss their private lives and also welcome guests onto the show for humour fuelled interviews.

Last September, Joe gave an insight into his reason for quitting Gogglebox. He told The Useless Hotline podcast: "There is a reason why there's not many young people on there. It's because we're in this new age of social media that me and George love so much. I couldn't see myself just coming home every week and eating a takeaway and doing that for the rest of my life. There's so much more I wanted to do, that's why we ended up leaving."
