Wendy Williams cried as she showed off her swollen feet in the first episode of her docuseries.

During the instalment of ‘Where is Wendy?’, the legendary talk show host's comeback show, the 59-year-old seemed to be determined to reveal all - at one point even flashing her breasts to the camera. During another, more candid, moment, Wendy opened up about her ongoing problems with her feet.

The TV personality has previously opened up about her numerous medical battles. Back in 2018, Wendy revealed she had been diagnosed with Grave’s Disease, a condition which results in the overproduction of thyroid hormones. And only last week, she made the shocking announcement that she had been diagnosed with dementia and aphasia.

The star's battle with lymphedema, which leads to a lack of sensation in her feet, has also been ongoing. When asked about the effects of the rare condition during the new documentary, she broke down: "I can only feel 2 per cent. Do you see what this looks like?” She then began sobbing and added: "There's no cure for this. There's no pill for this."

In 2022, Wendy told TMZ that she had “maybe five per cent” feeling left in her feet, so it would appear that her condition has somewhat worsened over the past couple of years. In the interview, she lifted her swollen leg and said: “Do you see this? [My foot] is up and down. I can only feel maybe five per cent of my feet, do you understand?”

The star went on to clarify that she did not require the help of a wheelchair and is still able to stand up by herself. Back in 2019, Wendy was forced to reveal her diagnosis after she was photographed with noticeably swollen ankles.

According to the NHS, lymphedema is a long-term condition that causes swelling in the body’s tissues, as a result of a blockage in the lymphatic system. Although, as Wendy says, there is no cure, symptoms can usually be eased by maintaining a healthy lifestyle and wearing compression garments.

Wendy's diagnosis of dementia and aphasia, the same condition as Bruce Willis, was announced on Thursday in a press release by her team. They said: "In 2023, after undergoing a battery of medical tests, Wendy was officially diagnosed with primary progressive aphasia and frontotemporal dementia (FTD). Receiving a diagnosis has enabled Wendy to receive the medical care she requires."
