The youngest of the three Wales children, Prince Louis, five, has quickly become a firm favourite of royal fans whenever he makes appearances at royal events alongside his family. Back in 2022, when celebrations for the late Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee were in full swing, Louis' big personality was on display at each event he attended, and Trooping the Colour was no exception.

The monarch's birthday parade sees a flypast take place as the Royal Family appears on the Buckingham Palace balcony, and during the jubilee was a central part of the celebrations - and saw Louis ask his great-grandmother a pressing question about what was about to happen - a lip reader has claimed.

The lip reader, Jeremy Freeman, told the Mirror at the time that as Louis waited excitedly for the Red Arrows to appear - the culmination of the flypast - and pulling faces and seemed to be enjoying himself, he turned to his great-grandmother and urgently asked her about what was going to happen next.

"Are the Red Arrows coming?" Freeman believes the young prince said, to which the Queen had a characteristically dry response, replying: "I hope so".

When the Red Arrows arrived and provided the finale to the impressive flypast, with white red, and blue trailing behind them, the late Queen said to Louis, "There it is," to which Louis responded, "Oh Red Arrows, whoa" and excitedly said "Yes, yes, yes!" as they arrived.

At another moment during the flypast, planes choreographed themselves into the shape of a 70, in honour of the amount of years the late Queen had been on the throne. At this stage, Freeman claims to have spotted what the Royal Family said to one another.

The lip reader believes that at the sight of the '70' planes, Queen Elizabeth said, "Oh, fun!" whilst Princess Charlotte said "Wow" at the sight and her mother Kate reacted by saying "Amazing!"

Prince Louis, the lip reader claims, said "Whoa - that was loud!" as he covered his ears to protect himself from the noise of the roaring plane engines. Also speaking to The Mirror at the time, a body language expert - Judi James - claimed that what she saw displayed in the interaction between the late Queen and one of her youngest great-grandchildren was a relationship of great affection.

"The Queen looked over at him with an indulgent facial expression though, chatting to her great-grandson as well as Kate. By the time the Lancaster flew over it looked as though Louis's excitement had brought out some childlike excitement in the Queen, too.

"She clearly loved the roar of the engines and as Louis literally jumped up and down at the sight of the Red Arrows, the Queen smiled and chatted as though sharing the moment," said James.
