Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly are back for one final series of their popular series, Saturday Night Takeaway.

The multi-award-winning entertainment show will be back on screens for its final outing on Saturday, February 24. Ant and Dec previously confirmed late last year that the ITV show would be taking an extended break following this upcoming series.

The upcoming 20th series will have loads of brand new high-octane challenges, hilarious hidden camera setups, new studio games and live surprises, but will also be a momentous magical celebration of all things Takeaway from over the years. Ant and Dec have confirmed a host of treats for the live launch show next weekend including Stephen Merchant as the Guest Announcer, the unveiling of our brand new little Ant & Dec, a must-watch and hilarious Simon Cowell ‘Undercover’ and a special End of the Show Show with Becky Hill and Urban Theory.

With the entertainment show so close to being filmed, how do you get tickets for it?

However, fans will have to rush as tickets have been going fast. There is still some limited availability left for the show on March 9. For those who want to take part in the series, there is still a chance to nominate yourself or someone else before the series comes to an indefinite hiatus.

Applications can be submitted here, with the closing date being on April 12, 2024.

Is it the final series?

Last year, comedy duo Ant and Dec revealed the upcoming series will be the last for the foreseeable future. Ant and Dec announced their plans to "rest" the Bafta-winning show before promising fans their plans to work on new TV formats. Taking to Instagram, the smartly-dress pair announced they would be taking a break from the beloved TV show.

Ant revealed: "We've got some news for you. Next year, in 2024, it will be our 20th series of Saturday Night Takeaway. And we've got some very special look-backs planned as well as some very exciting new items."

Dec continued: "And we've also decided that our 20th series will be our last one for a little while. The show takes up so much of a year we just feel like we need a little bit of a breather and the show is going to take a little bit of a rest. But before that, we've got the 20th series to plan," Ant remarked as Dec interjected: "And we're looking forward to it."
