Police search landfill for missing toddler, 3, after dinosaur shoe found
Emergency services hunting for a missing boy are now searching a landfill after a child's shoe was discovered.
Cops and FBI agents have been looking for Elijah Vue, 3, who was last spotted on Tuesday in Wisconsin. They say no stone will be left unturned in their bid to find the tot. He was last seen at home in Two Rivers, which is around 90 minutes north of Milwaukee and wearing red and green dinosaur shoes.
The small trainer was discovered near the property just a couple of days after he disappeared. Now, they are currently combing a landfill in Hilbert - which is around 40 miles from where Elijah was last seen. Agents have been pictured in hazmat suits and walking to and from blue tents with heavy machinery in the background.
Multiple agencies are working together to try and find the youngster and are using drones and K9 dogs to help them as much as possible. An air search from the Wisconsin Army National Guard was requested by cops, and boats and utility tank vehicles were also being used.

His mother Katrina Baur, 31, was arrested in connection with his disappearance and remains in custody at Manitowoc County Jail.
Authorities were made aware he was missing when his babysitter rang 911 three hours after he vanished. An amber alert was then issued in the area as part of the investigation.
Elijah's uncle Orson Vue said: "We’re extremely worried, we’re all emotional at this point, at the moment. And we don’t want to think of the bad stuff that may have possibly happened to him and we’re hopeful.”

A statement from the force said: "We are exploring all possibilities to locate Elijah. You may have seen officers searching areas such as local rivers and landfills, and that is correct. We will leave no stone unturned. You will continue to see similar large-scale searches as we receive tips and continue our search for Elijah.”
Ben Meinnert said parks and woodlands were combed and hundreds of volunteers have taken part in the search. He added: “Every piece of information could be key to bringing Elijah home."
Locals have been urged to check their surveillance cameras from February 12 – 20 as cops continue to appeal for clues. Elijah has dark brown hair, brown eyes, and a birthmark on his left knee.
