John Lewis rivals M&S with £45 Mother’s Day gift set worth triple the price

A number of brands have already launched epic Mother’s Day gifts that get you way more in products than the price you pay, including and Now, with a haul worth triple the price you pay.

The high street favourite’s but is said to be worth over £130.

Designed to offer the ultimate pamper session for tired, hard-working mums who may need a bit of a break, shoppers can unwrap a selection of including some which are full sized from high-end brands such as Elizabeth Arden and Floral Street.

There are and even some of the sample sizes aren’t to be sniffed at, with the Sunday Riley Auto Correct Brightening and Depuffing Eye Contour Cream, 8ml being based on the full sized 15ml being £60.

But it’s not the only high value product in the box, with a bottle of also stashed inside, worth £29. Loose Women's Stacey Solomon has previously raved about the small business’ fragrances, but says the fruity floral fragrance with notes of blackcurrant, pink pepper and candyfloss, is her favourite. She loves it so much, her sister Gemma even included it in the last year.

Shoppers have raved about the fragrance online, which has very few negative reviews, despite perfume being such a subjective matter. One happy customer said: “My 17 year old daughter absolutely loves this scent and is on her second bottle! Between us we have tried 3 floral street perfume options and love them all!”

Another added: “This is such a beautiful light floral daytime scent. Also, it really lasts a long time and I've had many compliments since wearing it.”

But some have said it isn’t as long-lasting as they’d hoped, writing: “Absolutely adore this scent, so fresh & floral. Love the packaging also. Only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because I don’t feel the scent lasts long on me, so I can see me getting through the bottle very quickly.”

Often beauty boxes may see one or two exciting products and then be filled with lower-priced items or unknown brands, but John Lewis’ very much seems ‘ to us, with goodies from Carolina Herrera, YSL, Laura Mercier, Kiehl’s and Lancome, as well as Shiseido, Spectrum and Issey Miyake.
