Lando Norris mocks F1 rival with masturbation jibe after breaking both wrists
Lando Norris crudely welcomed Lance Stroll back to the F1 grid last season.
In a moment that has come to light thanks to the new season of Netflix series Drive to Survive, McLaren star Norris teased his Formula 1 colleague who was returning from injury. Stroll returned to the grid in time for the opening race of the season in Bahrain after suffering a broken wrist.
The Aston Martin driver required pins after earning the injury while cycling in pre-season. He received somewhat of a warm welcome back from Norris and Ferrari's Carlos Sainz after missing pre-season testing.
Chatting with Stroll at the Sakhir International Circuit, Norris asked: “How are you?” Stroll promptly replied: “I’m getting there,” before the McLaren driver followed up his innocent opener with the question: “Can you w**k yet?”
Sainz chimed in to answer: “He can drive F1 [cars], I guess he can w**k!”

The 25-year-old earned his best finish in the Drivers' Championship in 2023 as he finished 10th but was out-qualified by teammate Fernando Alonso in 19 of 22 races. Stroll is set for a make-or-break campaign.
The Canadian racer managed to make it to pre-season testing unblemished this term. The Montreal-born competitor took a more careful approach in his route to Bahrain on this occasion.
“My apartment is stacked with pillows and I’m not allowed to leave,” he joked about his pre-season preparations. “I’m allowed to go running. No one’s told me this, but I think we live and we learn every day. I’m running, I’m watching my step while I run.
“No ankle twisting – none of that funny business, just running in a straight stride! I’m looking after my limbs and I want to get to Bahrain testing this year, so that’s the game plan.”
On day two of pre-season testing Stroll proved to be seventh quickest in his Aston Martin after racking up 96 laps in the Middle East. Entering his eighth season in F1 Stroll finished the day five spaces higher than Alonso.
Sergio Perez, Lewis Hamilton and Logan Sargeant all completed in excess of 100 laps as teams learned more about their cars on the penultimate day of testing. Sainz led the way in his Ferrari on Thursday ahead of Red Bull's Perez as Max Verstappen took a day away from the driving seat having finished quickest on day one.
